A GROUP FOR A TRUE CIRCULAR ECONOMY
In the Schüttflix Group, we combine the Schüttflix know-how with the expertise of IK Umwelt's recycling specialists and our GWG and HWG recycling depots. With combined knowledge and data-driven material flow management, we create a unique offering for a true circular economy in the construction sector.
THAT'S WHY THE SCHÜTTFLIX GROUP IS UNIQUE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Our group has special capabilities: we can combine supply and disposal on the construction site, optimize transport capacities in both directions and independently promote the circular economy in the construction industry with our own regional hubs. Only the Schüttflix Group has the appropriate network, the technical know-how, the data basis and the overview of supply and demand of building materials.
With our expertise, we pursue clear goals: increasing the recycling rates of building materials, reducing the need for landfills and massively promoting the sustainable use of resources.
IK Umwelt
IK Umwelt from Krefeld is a true specialist in the safe disposal of construction waste, the environmentally friendly recycling of mineral waste and the supply of secondary building materials. Thanks to its expertise and currently five locations in the Lower Rhine region, IK Umwelt is the ideal complement to Schüttflix to achieve the core goals of the Schüttflix Group in terms of recycling rates and resource conservation.
Gütersloher Wertstoffzentrum GWG
The GWG was part of the Hagedorn Group – and is now an important cornerstone in the strategy of the Schüttflix Group: it is used for the processing and intermediate storage of recycled building materials. Approximately 500,000 tons of recycled building materials are treated here annually on an area of 46,000 square meters
Hannoveraner Wertstoffzentrum HWG
The HWG, which opened in spring 2022, is one of the most modern recycling centers in Germany. It was the first of its kind with a trimodal logistics connection: material can be delivered and picked up by truck, train and barge. The 55,000-square-meter site includes three recycling halls with a total of 13,000 square meters of covered space. The annual processing capacity is 500,000 tons.
